The Onion just pulled a deliciously funny prank on a Chinese newspaper when they wrote a funny piece on North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Editors at China's People's Daily Online, obviously unaware of the fact the Onion is a satirical publication, reprinted Onion editors' flattering description of the head of state.

“With his devastatingly handsome, round face, his boyish charm, and his strong, sturdy frame, this Pyongyang-bred heartthrob is every woman’s dream come true.

“Blessed with an air of power that masks an unmistakable cute, cuddly side, Kim made this newspaper’s editorial board swoon with his impeccable fashion sense, chic short hairstyle, and, of course, that famous smile,” they wrote under the picture posted above.

Of course, the Onion had a field day with this story. They updated their story, making fun of the communist newspaper by naming them their overseas associates.

“Please visit our friends at the People's Daily in China, a proud Communist subsidiary of The Onion, Inc.” they posted.
