After giving life to Magdan, Neon, Chroino and the famous Gunwalker robots, Takasashi-san of Kyoto's Robot Garage, an important company from Japan, comes with innovations in the robotics industry by presenting its first Female Type FT robot. The introduction was made during a stylish catwalk show.

The sensual robot was dubbed FT, standing for female type, and not for the British Financial Times, as some of you might think.

After years of hard research, working and development, the company decided to release the robot on the market, even thought they created only 2 bots. Robot Garage believes that more than 50 per cent of all the robots in the future are going to be from the female variety, which might sound weird and a little bit SF, but could be a great step in the high tech industry.

Regarding the first female robot, the FT version is controlled by 23 tiny motors. It receives orders from an onboard computer to walk and move like a real woman. It can even lean and jump on music beats. Unfortunately, there is not much information available on the net, but the photos on the Robot Garage look great.

Amazingly, FT's body parts were designed especially to express a sensual, feminine bodyline. The robot features unexpectedly small sizes. She measures only 35cm in height and weighs around 300g, being made of mostly carbon and hard resistant plastic.

The robot's smooth design incorporates the use of two separate Gyrosensors, while the onboard power is supplied by a lithium polymer battery.

This is an important achievement since the Japanese scientists have unveiled the most human-looking robot, a female android called ReplieeQ1Expo. The Japanese company studied the professional fashion models when they decided to create the FT model.

According to Ubergizmo, the first she-robot is available in only 2 pieces, so the 300.000 bucks auction price might sound reasonable. I just wonder, does Hollywood know about that?
