Microsoft will continue to sell the Surface RT alongside the new Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2, while the existing Pro model will be discontinued once the revamped version hits the market.

As you can see in this table rolled out by Microsoft today, the new-generation Surface tablet comes with significant hardware upgrades, including a brand new processor that could provide enhanced speed and performance.

At the same time, both the Surface 2 and the Surface Pro 2 offer battery life, with even Microsoft does not provide very clear details.

The Surface 2, for example, is supposed to provide around 10 hours of battery life, while the only Surface Pro stats concern the battery performance in idle mode.
