The Mountain View-based company released an updated version of Google Earth a few days ago, a new edition of the downloadable mapping tool which is supposed to correct several glitches spotted in the 4.3 beta version rolled out some weeks ago. As you probably remember, Google has recently released Google Earth 4.3 beta version of the downloadable tool which includes many improvements from the previous release.

Here are the release notes of the version 4.3.7204 Beta version (credits to Frank Taylor of the Google Earth Blog):

■ MAC only- Whenever balloon has enough text to require a vertical scroll bar, the horizontal scroll bar shows up as well. Even though the horizontal text is not wide enough. ■ Bottom margin of balloon is too big. ■ Balloons sometimes do not render image when clicked repeatedly. ■ Sometimes balloon does not open in Vista machine. ■ "to here"/"from here" does not work in newly created placemark. ■ Navigation from camera views (above horizon) is broken. ■ Crash at exiting sky mode.

As mentioned, Google Earth 4.3 beta comes with lots of important updates, including here the implementation of Street View, a function that was previously available through Google Maps. Street View is a special Google feature which lets you view street-level panoramas of several regions in the world. Through the new update, consumers are able to enjoy the high-resolution photos straight from their desktop by only starting Google Earth. Besides that, Google Earth 4.3 beta provides a larger number of supported languages, improved worldwide coverage and imagery, plus multiple minor fixes which make the application work faster than anytime before. For instance, the Sky mode is now loaded and unloaded quicker than in previous releases.

As usual, if you wish to download this latest version of Google Earth, you can take it straight from our website, using the following link.
