Every new Firefox update (and software updates in general) is supposed to bring fixes for some of the reported bugs and flaws which could occur while using the program. Just like any other software company, Mozilla cooks a new patch for Firefox that will include several security fixes reported by the users and confirmed in version 2.0.0.9. The 2.0.0.10 release will be released after Thanksgiving so you should expect it sometime next week. Until then, a release candidate is available to all the users who are interested in testing it and helping the engineers at Mozilla to repair potential bugs.

All the users who would like to join Mozilla into its Firefox adventure are invited to the Firefox 2.0.0.10 Testday, scheduled for November 23, from 7 AM to 5 PM PST. Just like any other testing session, you're required to download and install the Firefox release candidates and surf the web just like with any other browser in quest for discovering bugs and problems with the application.

"Ad-hoc testing of features and bug filing: Check out Firefox 2.0.0.10 Release Candidate Builds by using as much of the features as you can. If you see an issue, raise it in #testday so people there can confirm it Then search for the bugin Bugzilla . If it's not on file, log the bug and again mention it in #testday so that it can be confirmed," the official page of the Testday advises interested consumers.

"Areas of focus: Install old Versions of Extensions and update to new Extension Versions, install flash and surf to Sites with flash and java content (like online game sites). Check your favorite sites and top sites for layout problems."

Until the new release of the Mozilla browser is officially rolled out, you can download the final version of Firefox straight from Softpedia.
