A few months ago, the European Commission decided to sign a deal with the online video sharing service YouTube in order to publish clips about people, environment and culture. Today, EUtube, the YouTube channel, reached the 1,000,000 views milestone which is pretty amazing if we think it attracted
such an impressive audience in four months. Remember the first clip published on the channel? "Film Lovers Will Love This!" was supposed to lure new fans to the European films but instead of doing this, it attracted others' criticism because it showed several sex scenes.

"The success of EUtube just confirms the importance of communicating in an interesting way and keeping up with the media that people like to use," said European Commission Vice President Margot Wallstrom, according to People's Daily Online.

At this time, EUtube has 4,531 subscribers and 1,004,014 channel views while the most popular clip recorded no less than 4,487,764 views. Moreover, "Film Lovers Will Love This!" has 1,632 comments and was rated as favorite by 4,023 YouTubers. Now, a potential YouTube channel is probably the best way to promote your clips as the online video sharing service has an impressive audience with millions of users coming every day.

YouTube was acquired by Google in October 2006 when the super giant paid no less than $1.65 billion for the technology which was supposed to obtain the first place in the online video sharing competition. And YouTube did so in only a few months as it quickly managed to remain in the spotlights due to the power of Google. Since then, Google remained focused on YouTube and this day marks a new milestone in the product's evolution: the super giant finally released its copyright infringement protection utility which must block infringing videos from appearing on the official page.
