Google is kicking off its fifth annual Doodle 4 Google contest, which asks students in the US to set their imagination free and create their very own doodles for the chance of it being featured on the Google homepage, as well as several other prizes.
"The theme for this year’s contest is 'If I could travel in time, I’d visit...'. That could mean visiting a past, present or future setting—whether it’s traveling back in time to the signing of the Declaration of Independence, to the future to witness everyday space travel, or to just a few moments ago to relive a poignant experience," Google's Marissa Mayer, who has been involved with the event for a few years now,
wrote.
The winning doodler will get $30,000, €23,566 for his or her college scholarship as well as $50,000, €39,276 for their school.
Last year's event attracted 107,000 entries and Google is making it even easier to register this year.
