It's no big secret that Google likes Easter Eggs. These past few days alone, several holiday-related ones surfaced, granted, they're not really that hidden and they're the traditional Easter Egg, in the sense that they've definitely been placed there to be discovered by a lot of people.

But you don't have to look too hard to find some that are a bit more genuine. Say, for example, you were a hobbit about to undertake a long and perilous journey across Middle Earth.

If you were living in the modern age, you'd turn to Google Maps, of course. And if you were living in a modern age where cars didn't exist, you'd choose to walk there, of course. In which case, you'd find that Google Maps sides with Boromir and urges caution.
