This piece of news is surely going to make RTS fans' day. As a matter of fact, this is probably the best thing that could happen to an RTS fan and especially to a Command & Conquer fan, as Electronic Arts has just confirmed that a massive compilation of 13 Command & Conquer games (including Tiberium Wars) will be available this month in North America. It's going to be called The Command & Conquer Saga and - according to the official announcement - this marks the largest PC franchise
compilation to date.

For those who aren't very familiar with the EA's popular RTS franchise, the series has stretched over a decade, spawned over a dozen titles and even now it continues to be the benchmark for the RTS genre. But let's just leave it at that, because if you're not a fan, then you're surely not interested in the titles included in this compilation and if you want to pick up on the series, you can always do it the old fashioned way - as in playing the games.

So without further ado, the Command & Conquer games included in the compilation (rated T for Teen by the ESRB), with their respective release dates, are as follows:

Command & Conquer (Aug. 1995)
Command & Conquer The Covert Operations (April 1996)
Command & Conquer Red Alert (Oct 1996)
Command & Conquer Red Alert Counterstrike (Mar. 1997)
Command & Conquer Red Alert The Aftermath (Sept. 1997)
Command & Conquer Tiberian Sun (Aug 1999)
Command & Conquer Tiberian Sun Firestorm (Feb. 2000)
Command & Conquer Red Alert 2 (Oct. 2000)
Command & Conquer Red Alert Yuri's Revenge (Oct. 2001)
Command & Conquer Renegade (Feb. 2002)
Command & Conquer Generals (Feb. 2003)
Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour (Sept. 2003)
Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars (Mar 2007)

EA has priced the Command & Conquer Saga at $49.99, making it more than affordable for any RTS fan out there. And if you think the price isn't fair, scroll back up and count the titles included in this compilation. You'll notice that there are A LOT of them. Remember that all games included in the compilation have been rated T for Teen.
