Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe has told Jay Leno's television talk show that he and his wife are having a baby boy. Crowe and actress wife Danielle Spencer, who are expecting the child this summer, already have a son.
"Just for you," Crowe told chat show host Jay Leno, "Charlie is going to have a brother."
The actor, who won an Oscar for his role in Gladiator, also revealed that he would be in the delivery room with a video camera when the child is born.
The New Zealand born star also said his first son, two-year-old Charlie, was aware of the impending arrival and was asked what he wanted to call his new brother. "His first option was Pumpkinhead. But then the next day he changed it to Stinky," he said.
The actor had previously announced the pregnancy, but had not revealed the sex of the child.
41-year-old Russell started dating Danielle when they met on the film set of "The Crossing" in 1990. They split five years later when Crowe left Australia for Hollywood, where he had a high-profile relationship with actress Meg Ryan. But after that escapade the actor returned to his first love, Danielle.
