14 DAY TRIAL // With a title like “London Has Fallen” you don't get any extra points for guessing where the action takes place in the “Olympus Has Fallen” sequel. The movie that told the story of how a former Secret Service employee ends up saving the life of the President of the United States is getting a sequel and it will hit theaters in 2015.
The movie will star Gerard Butler, the action hero from the first part, who will be this time taking the character of Mike Banning across the Pond into Britain. According to The Wrap, the plot of the movie starts out with the mysterious death of the British Prime Minister.
This leads to a large funeral attended by all the leaders of the major Western Countries and, subsequently, to a plot to wipe them all out. Butler will have to pair with the MI-6 and one of the best agents in order to defeat a shared enemy.
Other actors from the first movie are expected to return to the sequel, such as Aaron Eckhart and Morgan Freeman, who played the roles of President Asher and Speaker Trumbull, respectively, while Radha Mitchell and Angela Bassett will reprise their parts as well.
The movie is set to debut in theaters on October 2, 2015.
