14 DAY TRIAL // They often say that, if you’re a woman and you want to get people to notice you in Hollywood, it takes a lot of talent, guts and a pair of stunning legs, as well as the ability to work all these three to the best of your advantage. Olivia Wilde and Megan Fox have just officially been recognized for their star power and their stunning good looks, topping Maxim’s annual Hot 100 chart.
For the first time in many months, Megan Fox failed to come first. She’s Esquire’s woman of 2009 and, since she’s now out promoting “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” which is to drop in theaters very soon, she’s gracing the cover of most magazines, while also giving interviews that are meant to cause a stir by their very nature. Still, several sources point out, it’s a relative newcomer for many that has managed to get the Maxim staff on their toes: Olivia Wilde, best known for her part as 13 in “House.”
“We may not know a McDreamy from a McNugget, but when it comes to TV doctors, there is only one who makes our body temperature rise. The pulse-quickening internist played by Olivia Wilde on ‘House, M.D.’ is named Thirteen (which we presume is out of 10) and has a terminal illness […].” Maxim writes of the newly-crowned beauty. Still, even if the “House” part brought her in the spotlight with the A-listers, that’s not to say she was practically unnoticeable before, the mag points out.
“Roles on small-screen faves ‘The Black Donnellys’ and ‘The O.C.’ introduced Olivia to the world, but it’s her prehistoric part in this month’s ‘Year One’ that will put her on top of it. As the object of Cro-Magnon lust in the Judd Apatow-produced, Harold Ramis-directed, Jack Black-starring comedy, Olivia will surely knock moviegoers back to the Stone Age. Ugh!” Maxim further writes.
Coming in second does not mean that Megan Fox has lost any of the charm that has made her so popular with male audiences, the magazine says. She continues to be “painfully” gorgeous, with “the face of an angel” and “a body so perfect that God may have carved it out of soap while in the shower.” According to Maxim, Megan also “smells like clouds.”
The other beauties making up the top ten include Bar Rafaeli, Malin Akerman, Milla Kunis, Eliza Dushku, Adriana Lima, Rihanna, Jordana Brewster and Jennifer Love Hewitt.
