This amazing picture of 75-year-old Ernestine Shepherd stunned Reddit users. The woman looks fitter than most 30-year-olds.
Ernestine was the Guinness record title holder for “oldest competitive female bodybuilder in the world" in 2010 and 2011.
Her day starts at 3 a.m, with a meditation session. She then goes for a little run. Every day, this athletic woman jogs 10mi (16km) – and that's just before lunch time!
The National Center for Creative Aging honored her for having one of the “Most Beautiful Minds” in America, earlier this year. In 2011, she competed in bodybuilding competition Musclemania.
She made the decision to live healthier and work out more after trying on a swimsuit and realizing she is unhappy with her body.
"I was getting ready for a picnic with my sister Mildred, and we were trying on swimsuits. […] And we were not happy. So we did something about it," she told
HuffPost reporters.
Ernestine plans to participate in bodybuilding events at least until she's 80.
