Oksana Grigorieva Speaks: Mel Spat Me, Threatened Me with Gun

In what is the first interview since the domestic violence scandal broke, Oksana Grigorieva is speaking out her romance with Mel Gibson – and the incident that made her realize she was in danger.

As we also noted many a time, the Russian-born singer was in a relationship with the Hollywood star for about 2 years (as per her own words), and it ended when he lashed out at her and her kids, and attacked her.

The incident took place in January this year, when Gibson’s rage issues got really out of control and he reportedly hit Oksana while she was trying to protect their daughter, Lucia.

Oksana has just given her first interview since the scandal to People – and the mag got the singer to open up in front of the camera about the night in question.

“Grigorieva, 40, alleges that a livid Gibson, 54, flew off the handle at her on Jan. 6 in the presence of their 1-year-old daughter Lucia and her 13-year-old son Sasha (from a previous relationship with actor Timothy Dalton),” People writes.

To this day, Oksana doesn’t know what made Mel this violent on the night in question, she claims. What she does know is that she could have been killed if she hadn’t run away.

“When the domestic violence event happened... we were completely terrified and devastated,” Grigorieva says in the video.

“Mel kept spitting on my face until it was covered in saliva... he kept screaming like a crazy man. It’s a scary sight. No one wants that,” she further explains.

Things didn’t stop here either, she recalls.

“He says get the eff out and then he pulls a gun out. He could have killed us all,” Oksana believes.

Ironically enough, after Gibson told her to get out of his house, he also threatened her that, if she ever left, he would shoot his brains “out on the wall,” Oksana says in the same video.

Before running the story, People contacted Gibson’s attorneys but they refused to comment on the serious domestic violence allegations.

“The LA District Attorney is determining whether to charge Gibson with for domestic violence, while an LA sheriff’s investigation is underway as to whether Grigorieva tried to extort millions from the actor in exchange for keeping explosive audiotapes between the two private,” People writes.
