Oksana Grigorieva Refuses to Sign Prenup

Hollywood A-lister and famed actor and producer Mel Gibson is having a hard time trying to convince his current girlfriend and mother of his unborn child to sign a prenuptial contract. Aspiring singer Oksana Grigorieva has turned down Gibson’s generous offer, saying she wants “all or nothing,” which is putting their wedding plans in jeopardy, the National Enquirer says in the latest print edition (story via here).

As fans must know, Gibson, whose fortune was estimated a while back to about $900 million, already stands good chances of losing some of that money to soon to be ex-wife Robyn, who filed for divorce earlier this year. Understandably, now that he’s thinking of tying the knot once more – and, reports say, Oksana being pregnant is not the entire reason for that –, he wants to make sure he’ll not make the same mistake again.

So, Gibson had his lawyers draw up a prenuptial contract that any other woman couldn’t have possibly turned down. But Oksana did. “Now pals say Mel […] could pay a staggering $250 million if his second marriage crumbles. Pregnant Oksana Grigorieva is reportedly due to deliver the couple’s baby girl in early December. They are rumored to be planning a Christmas wedding. […] Mel’s offer was generous – $5 million a year for up to 10 years, the friend confided.” the Enquirer writes.

From what a friend of the couple tells the tab, it seems Oksana is not after Mel’s money, as many speculated in the early days of their relationship. Instead, she just wants a “normal” wedding and marriage, in which one spouse doesn’t have to take legal actions against the other for fear they might get ripped off in the eventuality of a divorce. This was a condition Grigorieva also made when she was dating Timothy Dalton, with whom she also has a child.

“Oksana wants all or nothing. The same thing happened when she was engaged to Timothy Dalton – and she walked away. She had Timothy’s baby, but refused to marry him because he insisted on a prenup to protect his fortune. Oksana was offended by it – and now she’s telling Mel the same thing. [Mel] is seriously conflicted by Oksana’s reaction. He’s such a God-fearing Catholic, he’s adamant that getting married to her is the right thing to do. But she’s stubborn. She’ll give him up before she’ll sign. She’s done it before.” the friend further reveals for the same tabloid.
