Digital equipment manufacturer Okoro Media Systems has just unveiled its new ZX series of home-theater PC systems targeted at the high-end multimedia consumers. The ZX media center PCs are part of the "Extreme" lineup
and come with Intel quad-core processors in rock-solid hardware configurations.

The new home theater PC from Okoro comes in a respectable hardware configuration, including a quad-core Intel processor at 3GHz, 3GB of system RAM and Nvidia's GeForce 8600GT with HDMI digital output and PureVideo HD support.

Following the industry trends, Okoro also adopted a less-conventional storage method for its flagship products. The ZX Extreme series of computers comes with Solid State Drive (SSD) technology to replace the conventional spinning platters and spare the user the extra noise in order to enhance the multimedia experience.

However, the operation is only half completed, as the manufacturer ships the ZX computers with a 32 GB solid-state drive to host the operating system and another conventional hard-disk drive to provide 1 TB of data for storing high-definition multimedia files.

The computer's case is as impressive as its hardware specifications. Okoro lets you choose from a wide palette of automotive colors including yellow and red with a high quality automotive finish usually associated with exotic cars, and especially with Lamborghini and Ferrari.

"We now have a stylish Digital Entertainment System for our customers in any automotive color they want. This will allow them to customize the unit to fit their dcor or color match it with their favorite car. We strive to give our customers what they want and ultimate customization is a popular request," says Christopher Curry VP of Sales and Marketing.

The OMS-ZX100 models come with a pre-installed version of Windows Vista Ultimate with Microsoft's Media Center software. However, all these won't come in cheap, and the starting price is situated a little below $6000.
