Besides the already talked about Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of the Two Worlds and the resurrected Bionic Commando, Capcom also announced three other new titles at its Captivate 2010 event, which took place in Hawaii, coming in the final months of 2010 or in the initial ones of next year.

Okamiden will be launched on the Nintendo DS line-up and will come in 2011, allowing the player to follow the adventures of Chibiterasu, a new and young sun god who needs to protect and to restore the land.

It seems that the celestial brush well known from Okami will return and an unspecified cast of characters with their own powers will join Chibiterasu in his quest. The Nintendo DS seems well suited to the painting mechanics the gameplay is built upon, so fans of Okami should be looking forward to the arrival of this portable title.

Capcom also talked about Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes, a game helmed by the man behind the success of Devil May Cry 4, Hiroyuki Kobayashi. It seems to be something in the vein of Dynasty Warriors with players suing a variety of weapons from first to swords, bows and spears to carve through huge numbers of enemies and lead their samurai avatar to victory. Special Basara moves and combos will be included in the game set to arrive on the PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii in the fall of this year.

Ghost Trick Phantom Detective was initially announced last year at the TGS as exclusive to Japan. Now, Capcom says that it will arrive on the Nintendo DS this winter and that it will task players to find out the past of a murder victim turned ghost who has the power to manipulate all the objects in their vicinity. The game is created by the original director of the well known Ace Attorney franchise.
