Oil Rush, one of the best looking games build so far on the Unigine engine and one of the most pleasant Linux surprises, can be bought now with a 50% discount.

Oil Rush is a mix of strategy and tower defense, combined in such a way that it practically has no rival. It’s built on the famous Unigine engine, the same one used in Heaven DX11 Benchmark.

The games will challenge players to find the best strategy and to defeat the enemy by using a variety of tactics. The single-player campaign has 16 mission and the multiplayer comes with a ton of modes and maps.

We reviewed Oil Rush a while ago and found that it’s worth every penny and that it’s one of the best Linux games launched so far.

If you are interested in the 50% discount for the Linux version, you should check out Steam. The deal will expire on May 11.
