14 DAY TRIAL // A man in Ohio has been ordered to wear an idiot sign around as punishment for threatening to kill police officers.
Above is a photo of 58-year-old Richard Dameron of Cleveland, holding a misspelled sign that shows how sorry he is.
According to New York Daily News, the punishment was laid out by Cleveland Municipal Court Judge Pinkey Carr, who apparently has a mean streak and a sense of humor.
Dameron was drunk when he issued the threats while calling 911 and he later admitted to the crime. This week, he will be doing rounds in front of the police station for three hours every day.
“I was being an idiot calling 911 and threatening to kill you. I’m sorry and it will never happen again,” his sign reads.
