14 DAY TRIAL // Wikipedia Foundation has just released a new BlackBerry application aimed at PlayBook owners.
Even though there has been quite a few Wikipedia paid apps available for download in the App World, this time devs launched a completely free version.
The official Wikipedia App for BlackBerry PlayBook contains more than 20 million articles in 280 languages. It’s the largest and widely used reference works that humankind ever produced.
For the time being, the software only features basic options, such as: Search articles nearby, Open articles in browser, Read article in a different language, Search.
Recently released, the application has received positive feedback, the only complain being the fact that the font size is too small even when set to large.
Wikipedia App is now available as a free download via App World and it’s only compatible with BlackBerry PlayBook.
