14 DAY TRIAL // After successfully launching the LTE version of Lumia 900 in the Unites States via AT&T, Nokia is now preparing for the global release of the international variant.
Although various third-party retailers listed the smartphone and confirmed they were taking pre-orders for the device, none offered an exact release date and a convenient price.
Today, UK-based retailer Phones4U announced that the white-themed Nokia Lumia 900 would be exclusively available through its official channels starting April 27.
The move doesn’t come as a surprise at all as the retailer already has exclusivity over white versions of Lumia 800 and Lumia 710, so customers who want this particular color for their phones should head over to Phones4U online store.
Other retailers in the country announced they would offer the black and cyan variants of the Lumia 900. Phones4U also confirmed the while Lumia 900 would be available for free with a new two-year agreement from £36 ($57) monthly.
In addition, customers who pre-order the Lumia 900 in white will also receive a free Nokia Play 360° wireless speaker. It is also worth mentioning Phones4U will also offer the black version of Lumia 900 for those who prefer classic colors.
Obviously, the international version of Lumia 900 will be delivered without LTE support. Instead, it will offer users HSPA+ (42Mpbs) and HSUPA (5.76Mbps).
The rest of the features are similar to the AT&T’s version, so expect this one to come with the same impressive 8-megapixel rear photo snapper that features Carl Zeiss lens, autofocus, dual-LED flash and HD (720p) video recording.
Furthermore, Lumia 900 sports a stunning 4.3-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution, and features Corning Gorilla Glass coating. The phone’s display is based on Nokia’s ClearBlack technology.
On the inside, the smartphone is packed with a 1.4 GHz single core CPU, 16GB of internal memory and 512 MB of RAM.
