It begs the question: 'If this is paradise, what's hell going to look like?'

Developer Sirius Games and publisher cdv Software Entertainment USA have recently rolled out the official trailer for their urban RPG title, 'Escape from Paradise City.' While the video may confuse you a bit (just check it out right HERE and you'll see what I mean), it's still good gameplay footage, showing off some of the game's most gruesome features.

Of course, as you could see in
the video (presumably having watched it already) graphics isn't exactly the game's main focus, so hopefully, gameplay makes up for all the cubes and the small number of polygons. On the good side however, it pretty much looks like you can do everything in this game. Kind of like the GTA series but more violent and less good looking. The game's storyline should present some drama too, as the trailer starts out with one of the best piano scores I've ever heard, so there should be a soft side to the game as well.

As the game's official website reveals, "Escape from Paradise City is an explosive mix between RPG, management and Real-Time Strategy. The game action takes place in a vast city, superbly rendered and bustling with life: Paradise City." Of course, everything you need to know, including the game's full plot can be found at the game's official website. I advise you to have a look and see that Paradise City isn't exactly the happy place the average reader would imagine it to be.

An earlier official report also informs upon the fact that cdv Software Entertainment USA will be bringing gamers a diverse selection of titles at this year's Penny Arcade Exposition. The Expo. will be held from August 24-26 in Seattle, Washington. Here's the publisher's lineup of games to be featured at the event, spanning a variety of genres:

Attack on Pearl Harbor - an action-arcade dogfighting title dropping players in the cockpits of popular WWII Pacific theater aircraft
Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened - a 3D horror adventure title where players take on the role of Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson as they unravel the mysteries of a dark cult of the elder god Cthulhu;
The History Channel Great Battles of Rome - players take on the role of a would-be Caesar as they use elements of strategy and RPG gameplay to create the ultimate army;
Tarr Chronicles - an epic space battle science-fiction title pitting players, in customizable space fighters, against waves of enemies in beautiful 3D environments;
And of course, Escape from Paradise City.

HERE's the link again to the first trailer of Escape from Paradise City launching for the PC platform on the 19th of October this year.
