14 DAY TRIAL // Splinter Cell: Blacklist has just received its official cover image, showing protagonist Sam Fisher running in his trademark spy suit, complete with night vision goggles, while wielding a pistol and a curved knife.
Ubisoft is set to release a new installment in the Splinter Cell franchise later this year, in the form of Splinter Cell: Blacklist.
The new title is going to bring a combination of the stealth systems used in previous games in the series with the action mechanics seen in the most recent Splinter Cell: Conviction.
After seeing several versions of the game's cover, Ubisoft has now posted the official artwork that will adorn the PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U versions of the game, on Facebook.
As you can see, it focuses on protagonist Sam Fisher and shows off the different gear he'll wear and use in the upcoming game.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist is out on August 20, in North America, and August 23, in Europe.
