Skrillex is aware of the hack, but he doesn't appear too concerned

Skrillex.com, the official website of the famous American electronic musician and singer-songwriter Sonny John Moore, aka Skrillex, has been hacked and defaced by Turkish hacker “eboz.”

The defacement page doesn’t explain why Skrillex’s website has been targeted. In a hidden message posted on the defaced website (text must be selected for it to become visible), the hacker warns those who use his online moniker.

Skrillex appears to be aware of the breach.

“Damn somebody hacked/jacked Skrillex.com haha,” he wrote three hours ago on Twitter.

However, at the time of writing, the site still displays the hacker’s defacement page.

Eboz is the hacker who managed to deface several high-profile domains in Pakistan last year in November – including google.pk, Microsoft.pk, Yahoo.pk, Apple.pk, and many others – by breaching the systems of the country’s domain registrar PKNIC.
