PlayStation owners rejoice, as Sony has just unleashed the Android application that allows for interaction with their consoles while on the go. The application has just been released on Google Play Store and is said to arrive on App Store sometime today.

With PlayStation App users will be able to see what their friends are playing, compare trophies and view their profile or recent activity.

In addition, you will also be able to chat with friends, receive notifications, game alerts and invitations and then use the Android device as an on-screen keyboard for PS4.

It also allows users to browse PlayStation Store and push the latest games and add-ons to their PS4 console so they are ready when they get home.

Last but not least, with PlayStation App users can take advantage of the in-app second-screen features and they can access PlayStation system guides, manuals and more.

You can now download PlayStation App for Android for free via Google Play Store. Keep in mind the application should be available with all devices running Android 4.0 and up.
