After countless leaks, speculations and insider tips, Verizon has officially announced it will offer the Nexus 7 LTE tablet on its network, starting February 13.

The Nexus 7 in black with 32GB of internal storage will be up for grabs with a $349.99 / €256 price-tag, online and at brick & mortar locations.

Big red says that for a limited time, users can purchase the tablet for $249.99 / €183 provided they don’t mind jumping onboard with a 2-year contract. Those who already purchased the device will be able to activate the tablet on the carrier’s wireless network after downloading the specific software update.

Moreover, the tablet can be added to the Share Everying plan, for an extra $10 / €7. The tablet will come shipping with Android 4.4 out of the box and will grant access to Google Play. Not sure whether the fact that the tablet comes with Android's latest is a good thing, since Nexus 7 users have been reporting "black-out" issues and slow battery charging under the build.
