Movie buffs and comic book fans are still in shock after Zack Snyder’s announcement that the “Man of Steel” sequel will also feature Batman, and will be based on Frank Miller’s comic “The Dark Knight Returns.”

The photo above will probably get them even more amped. (Correct me if I’m only speaking for myself.)

This is the HD version of the artwork shown at Comic-Con 2013 in San Diego at the weekend, which combines the two logos of the beloved superheroes.

It’s not much – in fact, there are some who are already saying that a kid with basic knowledge of image manipulation could have pulled it off – but it’s enough because it promises two years of Batman / Superman goodies and, above all, speculation.

The film will most likely be called “Batman vs. Superman” and is scheduled for a tentative release in 2015.

Henry Cavill has already been confirmed for Superman but, so far, no word on who might play Batman. Christian Bale has already said he’s done.
