The Intel Graphics Installer for Linux, a tool that allows users to easily install the latest graphics and video drivers for your Intel graphics hardware, has reached version 1.0.3.

It’s been quite a while since the release of the previous version of Intel Graphics Installer and the developers are taking their time, which is not exactly a good thing in this case.

The main feature of the new version is the support for Ubuntu 13.10 ("Saucy Salamander") and Fedora 19 (Schrödinger's Cat), distributions that have been released for a long time.

“This version of the Graphics Installer supports users of Ubuntu* 13.10 ("Saucy Salamander") and Fedora* 19 so you can get the most out of your Intel® graphics hardware. Gamers, for instance, require the very latest graphics stack to get the best experience out of your favorite games on Linux.”

“An up-to-date graphics stack impacts casual web users as well-- under the hood, the web is becoming media-rich as HTML5 increases in popularity,” reads the official announcement.
