Lenovo has been gearing up to introduce a new business tablet, the big brother of the already available ThinkPad 8 slate that comes with a 10-inch form factor.

Information about the ThinkPad 10 slate has been popping up since earlier this month and we’ve got to see most of the specifications the tablet will arrive with. Nevertheless, there’s one piece of the puzzle missing, namely the price.

Even if Lenovo hasn’t made the official announcement related to the slate yet, the company has already posted pictures and full specs of the upcoming tablet on its Australian website (via TabTech).

For those of you who made it late to the party, the ThinkPad 10 business tablet is expected to arrive with a 10.1-inch screen and 1920 x 1200 pixel IPS display with 180 degree viewing angle and support for multitouch.

The slate draws power from an Intel Atom Z3795 quad-core processor fitted with either 2GB / 4GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage.

At first, Lenovo will be making only the 2GB / 64GB model available, while the higher-capacity options will be pushed out at some later date.

Furthermore, the tablet will launch with Windows 8.1 32-bit, but Windows 8.1 64-bit and Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit versions are in the pipeline, as well. Note that Pro version will not come with Microsoft Office Home & Student 2013 pre-loaded, but the other models will.

The ThinkPad 10 will also come with an 8MP rear camera and 2MP frontal one, stereo speakers, mic, Wi-Fi 802.11n and Bluetooth 4.0.

Being a business tablet, Lenovo has made sure that the device will have a long enough battery to get you through the day, so you can expect the ThinkPad 10 to be charged for 10 hours.

The device also has an active digitizer and offers support for an optional digital pen and also comes equipped with a mini HDMI port and Wi-Fi direct printing support.

Those familiar with the ThinkPad 8 tablet will be happy to know that Lenovo is offering the QuickShot Cover for the 10-incher too. The accessory comes with a nifty foldable flap near the rear camera that allows users to immediately reveal the lens and launch the camera app to snap a quick picture.

Lenovo will also offer a tablet dock bundled with 3USB 3.0 ports, HDMI port, Ethernet jack, PXE boot support and audio jacks, plus an Ultrabook Keyboard that has a slot for a digitizer pen.

Note that Lenovo will be launching a model with support for 4G LTE, EDVO and HSPA+ cellular networks too.
