T-Mobile’s Samsung Galaxy S 4 smartphone became available for purchase through the wireless carrier’s website last week, and the first official firmware for it can already be downloaded.

Galaxy S 4 SGH-M919 owners can now download the software both over the air and through the Samsung Kies application, though it is only a minor update, as TmoNews notes.

The firmware brings along improvements to the Visual Voicemail and ISIS apps, T-Mobile notes on its support website. It will arrive as baseband version M919UVUAMDL, featuring Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

"Beginning May 7, the Samsung Galaxy S 4 will have a software update to Android version 4.2.2/Baseband version M919UVUAMDL via OTA and Samsung Kies. This update improves the Visual Voicemail app and includes ISIS app improvements," the carrier announced.
