39 artists from 15 countries ready to rock football

Video game publisher Electronic Arts has announced the official soundtrack for its upcoming FIFA 12 football simulation, with a selection of 39 artists from 15 countries offering the music that will accompany both the high and low points of player created careers.

Steve Schnur, who is the worldwide executive of Music and Marketing at Electronic Arts, stated when the list was made public, “Our belief is that FIFA soundtracks must always be more than just a collection of songs. We want to create a true international showcase that embodies dozens of nations and virtually every genre of music. We want to bring the world closer together by uniting the global cultures of football and music.”
