20th Century Fox launches the official website for Eragon , which is set to hit theatres on June 16, 2006.

The movie directed by Stefen Fangmeier, is based on the Christopher Paolini-penned bestselling fantasy novel about a young boy whose discovery of a dragon egg leads him to become a knight and battle an evil king.

Eragon, starring Ed Speleers, John Malkovich, Jeremy Irons, Djimon Hounsou, Robert Carlyle and Sienna Guillory, is currently shooting in Hungary.

The official website includes 'The Legend', in which one can learn more about the story, 'The Lexicon', with the meanings of the novel's words and names, and 'Downloads', such as a Wallpaper and IM Icons. News are expected to be added to the site down the road.
