Official DualShock 3 Images Surface

Here it is boys and girls, the DualShock 3 controller for use with the PlayStation 3 console from Sony. These are images of the thing officially released by Sony Computer Entertainment today and, as you can see, there's no visible difference whatsoever between it and the SIXAXIS. Grabbing one however should "feel" quite different.

According to an earlier Sony report, the DualShock 3 inherits the basic design and functionality of the PlayStation controller, while keeping the high-precision, high response motion sensitive six-axis sensing system. Add the new rumble features to that and you've got the perfect controller.

Currently, only some PS3 titles are compatible with the DualShock 3's rumble features. However, all of them are fully compatible with everything else it has to offer. PS3 titles that are already in the market may become compatible with the rumble feature through software update.
