The collaboration with Rihanna is dark and disturbing

After weeks of anticipation, of teasers and speculation, finally, the newest Eminem video is now online. The video for “Monster,” which marks the rapper's second collaboration with Rihanna, is exactly what you'd expect from it because of the lyrics – it's dark and disturbing.

It features several segments in which Eminem re-enacts parts from prior videos, as a kind of reminiscing the past to explain the present.

The rapping is interrupted at regular intervals by a very leggy and buxom Rihanna singing from inside what looks like a garage.

At the end of the video, Eminem can be seen facing a “Monster” in a cage guarded by two men with guns. In a metaphor about confronting your own monsters, Mr. Marshall proceeds to look the Eminem in the cage (which could be his Slim Shady alter ego) in the eye, thus showing that he's not afraid and that he's probably moved on.

Despite being online for just a couple of hours, the video for “Monster” has already managed to get over 1 million views.
