14 DAY TRIAL // Byte² (Byte Squared) has released updated versions of the company’s productivity apps for iPhone and iPad, Office². The new versions add new features and fixes.
Version 5.2.2 adds the ability to hide and unhide presentation slides, and includes general fixes that target both iPhone and iPad, as well as one improvement for tablet users only.
For all supported devices, Office² 5.2.2 fixes a problem where certain DOCX, XLSX, and PPTX files crashed under certain conditions.
Stability improvements have been carried out for PPTX files containing shapes, and some general rendering improvements have been applied. A crash when scrolling and then closing a spreadsheet has been fixed as well.
For iPad users only, the developers made some improvements in presentation play mode when the device is rotated.
