Users of the Office System from Microsoft now have available a range of new calendars tailored to the upcoming year. The Redmond company made new
2010 Calendars available for download via the Templates section of the Office Online website. There are no less than 75 calendars offered for the various components of the Office System, versions 2007 and 2003. Users of Excel, Word, OneNote, PowerPoint, Publisher and Visio will be able to grab new 2010 Calendars from Office Online Templates
specifically tailored to their application.
“There is a wide range of 2010 calendars now available on Office Online Templates. New versions are recently available for older, popular styles such as the Lunar Calendar for Word. And different types of calendars, new to Office Online Templates, are now here such as the Quarterly Calendar for Publisher,”
revealed a member of the OfficeOnline team.
The 2010 Quarterly Business Calendar for Word 2007 is the best rated template in its category, according to Microsoft. However the 2010 Calendar (Basic design) for Word 2003 and Word 2007 is by far the most popular download with over 37,880 downloads. Runner up with 16,900 downloads is the 2010 Calendar (Classic Blue design) for Word 2003 and Word 2007. Third place is occupied by the 2010 Calendar (Basic design) for Word 2007, which was downloaded no less than 12,800 times.
Word and Excel calendars for 2010 are by far the most popular downloads in this Office Online Templates category with just a single item designed for PowerPoint breaking into the top 25 downloads. Microsoft is currently developing the next iteration of the Office System. The first
Community Technology Preview of Office 2010 is scheduled to go live this month. The Technical Preview will be a limited testing program, but a public Beta is planned for the second half of 2009.
