Early adopters interesting in test driving Office 365 are now able to sign-up for the Beta testing process associated with the upcoming Cloud productivity suite from Microsoft.

This can be done through the following website Office365.Microsoft.com, and not via Office365.com, as the company announced initially.

Remember, the software giant is looking for a limited number of Beta testers, and as such participation is bound to close extremely fast.

Customers that are looking to see what Office 365 has to offer them will be able to do so by signing-up to the Beta. Of course, simply signing-up is no guarantee that customers will get green light to take Office 365 components out for a spin.

“We are initially testing with 2,000 organizations and expanding from there. After you sign up, you'll get two e-mails. The first will confirm that we are reserving your place in line.

“The second will let you know if you're in the first round or not. If you don't get in the first round, we do plan to expand the beta to more organizations over time. So sign up to hold your place in line today,” Microsoft revealed.

It appears that visitors that attempted to join the Office 365 Beta program on October 20th, ran into some problems.

When clicking the "submit" button on the form made available to them, the page was refreshing mistakenly. Microsoft has worked to resolve the issue, and now customers can sign-up without any problems.

“Slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, but we may also select customers to ensure the beta includes a diverse population from companies of all sizes, partners, and different regions around the world,” the company added.

“And, of course, we pre-invited some of the customers and partners who have been helping us test alpha versions of Office 365 and our services.”
