14 DAY TRIAL // iosphere GmbH has released a new version of its offline maps application, OffMaps 2, adding curated recommendations and other new features and tweaks.
OffMaps 2 version 1.50 offers curated recommendations and Wikipedia articles to help you find sights and tips for popular locations. New destinations include New York, Paris, and Berlin, with more on the way.
Users will also notice a redesigned icon, redesigned sorting and search in lists, improved performance when sorting by distance, the ability to get notifications when a download finishes, as well as performance improvements and stability tweaks.
The developer asks users to help them out by posting a positive review to the AppStore. Of course, if there’s still something that needs fixing, you should mention that as well.
OffMaps 2 requires iOS 5.0 and works with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.
