Not much time left in the beta, so hurry up and record the footage of your favorite meme

It seems that even when on the verge of eradication, mankind still finds enough time and will to enact viral memes, as evidenced by this video from the Destiny beta test, that shows how the Harlem Shake is what motivates and brings humanity together, fighting for a common cause.

Destiny, the anticipated online multiplayer first-person shooter that's due out on September 9, is currently in semi-open beta testing on the PS3, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360.

A few Guardians got together, presumably over a long-lost piece of technology, and seemingly decided to reinstate one of the pillars of modern society, the Internet meme, to its rightful place as our species' legacy.

With the floodgates now open, prepare to witness a spree of viral dance-based memes popping up on the Internet. One would presume that Earth's finest warriors would show a bit more gravitas, not to mention respect, but hey, this is the world we live in.

What's missing now is finding a video of Marquese Scott showcasing his mad dance skills in the Tower. He's done it in front of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, on the Great Wall of China, so it's not that far-fetched that he would also do it there.

There are only three words that could possibly serve as the ending for this article: Oppan Gangnam Style.
