Now, this is one piece of news that has really made my morning, even more than the Monday coffee: one piece of audiophile-grade, luxurious amplifier that sells for a price that won't make you go havoc. It looks like Lars&Ivan have decided to keep the reasonable pricing further on with their gear and this means only one thing, that they're doing fine and we can enjoy more of their gear.

The Lars&Ivan PA-40Ti Hybrid is one amp that will simply look awesome
in your room, no matter whether you live in a modern flat or in a Scottish mansion; in fact that's what its creators have thought about...why keep on designing polyhedral amplifier and not go for a wacko shape?

Their new amp looks like almost nothing before, with a round, neatly-cut shape, with tubes slightly sticking out of it and minimalist, most elegant control. Well, the PA-40Ti Hybrid is a tube-powered amplifier embedding a most convenient iPod docking station; just add in some Hi-Fi loudspeakers and there you go, you have your own stereo Hi-Fi installation that will definitely attract your friends' and visitors' envy.

An exceptional blend of vintage and most moders technologies.

This unit charges your iPod, gives you USB connectivity and even sports a video output. In case you're somehow anxious about the power-issues, rest assured: the Lars&Ivan PA-40Ti Hybrid can blast as much as 40W RMS and that is more than enough to fill in a room with rich acoustics. It might be not enough for a party but hey, we're talking neat and cozy stuff here, right? This awesome amp also provides you with handy connections with other devices you might want to hook up, like Phono, CD and Aux, all selectable by means of a neat front knob. Even more, the PA-40Ti Hybrid offers a preamp out for a subwoofer, headphone out and a handy remote control that will let you interact with your beloved iPod.

Official specifications:
