Back in 2009, when she first became famous for giving birth to healthy octuplets, some people noticed that Nadya Suleman bore some resemblance to Angelina Jolie. Today, the latest issue of InTouch Magazine brings a “tribute” spread to the actress.
That is to say, the mag got Octomom, as she’s long been dubbed by the press, and made her recreate two of Jolie’s most famous poses, namely her leg pose at the Oscars last year and her Tomb Raider pic.
You can see them both included in this article, together with the original Tomb Raider shot of Jolie, to have something to compare it against.
InTouch also brings a short interview with Suleman, in which she talks about her huge brood (she has 6 other children born before the octuplets), her regular day and her admiration for Angelina Jolie.
Welcome to the club, Octomom!
“I admire her. She saves children’s lives,” she says, in awe.
However, that’s where comparisons between the two end, and Suleman is the first to admit it.
“I get that we both have a lot of kids, but I don’t think I look anything like her,” she says.
As we also reported back in 2009, rumors at the time were saying that Octomom had actually paid big money to go under the knife to look more like the Oscar-winning actress, getting implants or fillers in her lips, a nose job and perhaps new cheeks as well.
To InTouch, Suleman insists she’s not much of a celebrity, no matter what the tabs are saying about her.
“I do a lot! I’m a cook, a chauffeur and a nanny,” she says of being a “hands-on parent” to her 14 kids.
When she’s not keeping busy this way, she’s either clipping coupons to save some money or doing laundry.
“I do several loads every day — there’s always clothes in my washer,” she says.
