While her mother’s bungalow is up for foreclosure

Ever since the controversial birth of octuplets following IV fertilization, Nadya Suleman has been anything but a regular mom. Now, with her mother’s bungalow about to go up for foreclosure because payments haven’t been made for 10 months, Suleman is ready to relocate, TMZ has learned. And she’ll do it in style, in a $1.24 million house in the neighborhood, the same source says.

Although Suleman is so much in debt that it’s hard even for her to keep track of all those to whom she owes money, and with her mother’s house as good as gone on the same account, she seems to have the money to pay for the $1.24 million house she has just found. Not only that, reports are saying, but she has already scheduled an interview to take place at her “new pad” the very day she moves in – but no contract for the house has yet been signed, word has it.

“Unbelievable!!! We’ve confirmed OctoMom Nadya Suleman is looking to buy a home listed for $1.24 million! Octo is there right now... the house is in Whittier, California. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms and a pool with no safety gates.” TMZ writes. “A real estate source tells TMZ the owner canceled showings today specifically because Octo wanted to see it. She needs it because the house she’s living in now may be on its way to the auction block – as in foreclosure.” the gossip website / paparazzi agency further explains.

Only hours after this story broke, TMZ got confirmation from the real estate agency that, indeed, Suleman was listed as an interested buyer. The agency also confirmed that all showings had been canceled for an entire day, so as to allow Nadya to do the interview the very moment the contract was signed. Who is paying for the house, or where Suleman got the money for it from is, at this moment, anyone’s best guess.

In other Suleman-related news, her father, Ed Doud, who had to take up a job as a translator in Iraq to support his daughter’s ever-increasing brood, has just sat down with Oprah to discuss octuplets and how Nadya will deal with so many children. Doud, just like Nadya’s mother, admits to Oprah that what his daughter did was “irresponsible” but, at the same time, he is asking the public to not punish the children because of their mother’s actions.

“Now I’m no psychiatrist, but I question her mental situation,” Doud reveals. “I say to everybody now: People, we do need help. Do not punish my daughter for what she had done and do not punish the babies, because they were given by God.” Suleman’s father adds. The full interview with Oprah will air on February 24.
