The development team at Obsidian might be busy working on Project Eternity, but the leadership would be happy to work with its old buddies at BioWare on a new Star Wars video game project, now that Electronic Arts holds the exclusive license to the universe.

Feargus Urquhart, the chief executive officer of Obsidian, tells Rock, Paper, Shotgun that, “We would love to work on another Star Wars game, and if it was possible for us to hook up with BioWare and EA to do so, that would be pretty amazing.”

The team apparently has a new idea for a Star Wars project and has previously thought about pitching it to Disney after it acquired LucasArts earlier in the year.

Electronic Arts has announced that teams at BioWare, DICE and Visceral are already exploring ideas for Star Wars.
