J.E. Sawyer, one of the leading developers working at Obsidian and the project director on Fallout: New Vegas, has released a new mod for the game based on his own preferences when it comes to experiencing the game.

The mod increases the weapons and armor numbers and limits the level cap and the rate at which the player gets experience.

There are also limitations when it comes to health regain.

J.E. Sawyer stated, “The game's over. The ship has sailed. No one is working on it anymore. No testers, nothing. This mod is just me working in my free time. If I horribly botch something, you can just un-check the mod and go on your way.”

Fallout: New Vegas was developed by Obsidian on the framework offered by Bethesda and was first released during October 2010, with a host of downlodable content launches coming throughout this year.

It seems that the modding community will need to now take up the task of providing patches and new content for the community of players who still enjoys exploring the Wastelands and battling their inhabitants.
