Joseph Kosinski made his directorial debut with the visually stunning but narratively flawed “TRON: Legacy,” but he’s now getting ready to make a comeback to the silver screen with some help from Tom Cruise.

Their brand new collaboration is called “Oblivion,” is based on a graphic novel by the director himself, and just got a brand new official poster.

Useless to say, the film is a post-apocalyptic one. Cruise plays a drone repairman on an Earth that is a mere shadow of what it once was. However, the worst is yet to come, and humanity’s future will be entirely in Cruise’s hands.

“Oblivion” also stars Olga Kurylenko, Andrea Riseborough, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Melissa Leo, and will be out in April next year.

Cruise has surely been keeping very busy.
