As it usually happens with successful concepts that manage to captivate a great number of people, Oban Star Racers will expand to mobile gaming too. We are talking about an extremely popular TV series that has now been adapted as a mobile game subject.

Oban Star Racers was released in 2001 as a French/Japanese animated television series. The story behind it is pretty thick and involves a great number of interesting characters. All action takes place in the year 2082 and depicts the tale of the intergalactic Great Race of Oban. The main character is a 15 year-old girl named Molly, who struggles in order to win the big prize against other 9 competitors. We are talking about a pretty motivating reward, as it consists in granting the winner any wish in the world.

Molly has joined her father's racing team without him knowing who she really is in fact. Moreover, her mother had died in a racing accident, so the only parent she has now is her father, who unfortunately does not recognize her. All these facts encourage Molly in her pursuit for the big prize, as all she has ever wanted was to have her family reunited.

The TV series is aimed at children aged 7-12, but the complex and captivating story has eventually found fans among older viewers too. It currently airs on all Jetix blocks and channels all around the world and is highly appreciated. As a statement of this fact, Oban Star Racers has received several awards attesting its quality, such as Animeland Award for Best N-n-Japanese Animation of 2006 and EuroJap Award 2007 at Polymanga.

The mobile game Great Race of Oban is created by DeValley Entertainment Oban Star Racers game and Sav! DeValley is a mobile entertainment company that provides games especially designed for cellulars. Their initiatives try to bring original, captivating concepts with a highly creative dimension.
