Obama's been pretty active online lately, but given that he won his first term with a big helping from "the internet" and that the US presidential elections are just a couple of months away, it's understandable.

In a testament of his team's social media savviness, or just of his much larger online following than that of his opponent, Mitt Romney, one of his most recent and succinct tweets also became one of his most popular ever. And, in an ironic twist, it was the most retweeted tweet related to the Republicans' huge convention last week with close to 53,000 retweets at this moment.

The tweet in question only read "this seat's taken" and linked to a photo of Obama in the presidential chair. If you've been following the election spectacle, you'll know this is in response to Clint Eastwood's bizarre argument with an empty chair seating an invisible Obama. And if you haven't been following the election spectacle, it's probably for the best.
