Interviewed by Univision's Jorge Ramos, U.S. President, Barack Obama confirmed he owned not only an iPad, but also a personal (full-fledged) computer, following up with a joke that he didn’t have to borrow such products from bystanders.

Though you’ll never find President Obama dressed smart-casual at televised events, you will find both smart and casual remarks coming out of his mouth when given the opportunity.

Obama made a good point during Univision’s education town-hall event on Monday when asked by Jorge Ramos, “Do you own an iPad?,” and “Do you own a computer?”

After replying like a cadet to the first question - “I do have an iPad” - Obama was baffled at the sound of the second question fired off by Ramos, to which he responded:

“I’ve got my own computer. You know, I mean… Jorge, I’m the President of the United States. You think I’ve got to… You think I gotta go borrow somebody’s computer?”

With attendees laughing their rears off, Obama then starts to pick random folks from the audience, asking: “Hey man, can I borrow your computer? How about you, you got one? [laughs]”

The clip in question can be watched here (embedding not available).

Obama has a history with Apple’s iPad.

The man has been videotaped at least two times signing digital autographs on the tablet device. So, it is somewhat relevant to ask the man if finally got around to buying one for himself.

However, asking the President of the United States whether or not he owns a personal computer is pointless, to say the least.

Nonetheless, Obama’s reply made the interview less formal and quite fun for everyone attending.

And for the Apple fanboys who may be wondering what phone the prez is wielding, we’re sad to inform that he is reportedly carrying around a BlackBerry.

Perhaps on his next interview Obama will make a joke about really having to borrow an iPhone to play Angry Birds.
