During a ceremony that took place at the White House on Tuesday, November 1, the four astronauts that conducted the last space shuttle flight to the International Space Station (ISS) met with US President Barack Obama.

The STS-135 mission was flown by the orbiter Atlantis, and was carried out by Commander Chris Ferguson, pilot Doug Hurley and mission specialists Rex Walheim and Sandra Magnus. All of them can be seen in the background of this image.

Atlantis' final resupply flight to the ISS concluded on July 21, 2011, and lasted for about 12 days.
