Despite the many grudges and misunderstandings that made four of the band members leave, the Gallagher brothers are still going strong. They plan to release a new album before Christmas, meant to illustrate the Oasis rise to fame over the past 12 years.
'Stop the Clocks' will be released on November 21st and will include 'Number One singles and, unique to Oasis, instantly familiar B sides [and] the songs they believe encapsulate their remarkable career to date', a spokesperson for the band said.
It will feature hit singles like 'Wonderwall', 'Half the World Away', 'Supersonic', 'Acquiesce', 'The Importance of Being Idle' and 'Some Might Say', along with other 12 tracks that made the British rock band reach international fame.
BBC informs that, currently, the members have just finished a two-year tour to promote their latest album, 'Don't Believe the Truth' and, after the release of the greatest hits collection they are planning to take a break. 'This is not a full stop, but merely a time out', the band's publicist stressed, probably anticipating rumors about another possible split.
